Good take on Andrew Tate's arrest

It isn’t biased because some sort of masculinity and femininity is indeed exaggerated.

Example, a woman that walks around wearing pink with pink everything and that pretends to be overly helpfulness is indeed being hyper-feminine.

A man that is being overly macho, arrogant and talking about cars 24/7 is indeed being hyper masculine as he is playing a role of what he deems to be masculine.
You said in your previous post hyper masuline means fake masculine in academia.
Can you provide a source for this, or the usage of the word hyper in this context meaning "fake"
the examples you cited are examples of people trying to be hyper masculine not actual hyper maculinity, the reason it is called hyper masculine is because in the western culture these things are seen as masculine therefore a man douing them is seen as hyper masculine

By fake, I meant it is over the top and the person isn’t being their authentic self. They’re trying to appeal to societies notions of being masculine whilst actually looking fake and exaggerated. That is what I meant.

hypermasculinity, sociological term denoting exaggerated forms of masculinity, virility, and physicality. Scholars have suggested that there are three distinct characteristics associated with the hypermasculine personality: (1) the view of violence as manly, (2) the perception of danger as exciting and sensational, and (3) callous behavior toward women and a regard toward emotional displays as feminine.

Here is my problem, the sociologists, mainly these western ones, are injecting their own societal beliefs of masculinity into their terms.
Meaning if violence is masculine according to them and our society, a man who is overly violent to compensate his insecurities is hyper masculine
my problem with this, is number it assumes violence is masculine(which it isn't), 2 violence is a negative thing, and associating a negative thing with masculinity is not only a asssumption but trying to undermine masculinity
3 they label it as hyper masculine, as in extremely masculine, my contention, is the fact these things aren't masculine anyway, labelling it hypermasculine is asserting these things are in anyway masculine, which is why I said it is fake masculinity objectivly, tate may think he is being hyper masculine but In reality it is fake masculinity.

being hyper masculine, when you aren't hyper masculine person, is being inauthentic and lying, which is why people say you are being hyper masculine when you are being fake, the problem is, hyper masculine doesn't = fake, it is only fake when the person is pretending to be masculine when they are not

Men are judged more highly on their ability to engage in combat strength. A hyper masculine man due to his need to exaggerate those qualities, will use violence as a tool to not protect and defend but to dominate.

I see where you are coming from. I too believe Tate is an example of a Modern Western version of masculinity which doesn’t align with Islamic values. However, everywhere in the world you find that men do resort to violence and dominance when they feel challenged or insecure.

I think we’re going around in circles. I think we both lowkey agree with each other but differ in terms of terms and technicalities.

The problem is when you call this hyper-masculine you are only vilifying masculinity and saying femininity is good and kind whereas masculinity is oppressive and evil which it is not.

This doesn't make it masculine though, it is just a predicament of the society we live in unfortunately, these guys are presenting this false image of masculinity that everyone loves, problem is it is only feeding into their false belief of what being a man is.
The more we call it hyper masculinity and masculine the more we just agree with the belief that being a man is bad and that a man should act like a women to be a good person
Instead we should call it false masculinity and redefine masculinity as the one Islam presents so we can make people realize that being a real man is not about being a womanizer and oppressing people

I agree with you but I really hate using the word hyper-masculine as it has connottions that masculinity is innately evil and oppressive
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The strong are not the best wrestlers. Verily, the strong are only those who control themselves when they are angry.

Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 6114, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2609

Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi (authenticity agreed upon) according to Al-Bukhari and Muslim
This is the method the prophet used to redefine strenght and masculinity to his society, this is wht we need to do, being a strong man is not beating your wife or peers, or as other people view it, it is controllinh your emotions, the opposite of these redpill guys
