Great news for innovation and for competition. It will provide consumers with more choice. My country should also do this but we are led by idiots. Those against this still live with their mothers and have no idea of the real world. They think everything is for free which is exactly why they still live with their mothers.

Why should Netflix be allowed to use 1/3 of all North American bandwidth and not contribute and get away with it? This is very costly to companies. Extra revenue will be used to improve infrastructure and hire millions of people.

Websites should be allowed to charge for their content. However access to certain websites shouldn’t be restricted by ISPs. That’s deeply corrupt and a danger to a free society. Yes ISPs are corporations but they are a special kind. They should be treated differently for the sake of a democracy.

Walmart can charge you whatever they want for their products but no one should stand in front of Walmart and control access or make it easier to go to a different store. This is a perfect analogy for net neutrality.
