In the coming election they want to break bursalax from goldgob and make it new degmo. Do you have feedback on this beef between reer bursalax and goldgob?

Bursalax was made a degmo breaking it off galdogob district and taking many tuulos like beyra with it. Now Saaxo was also made a degmo out of Galdogob district basically making Galdogob a small district with less political power and will loose seats in Mudug. Also development funds that use to go straight to Galdogob must be shared with Bursalax. All Mudug districts are now Cumar Maxamuud districts expect for Galdogob, Saaxo and Towfiq also including all but 1 degmo in Galkayo being CM.
They did declare that they left PL to form a own state or join galmudug so naturally CM isolated them politically, financially and geographically, The customs might even be moved to Bursalax if Leelkase don't make up their mind. Either you PL or not can't eat off PL while opposing it.
Same policy should be used against dhullos and Warsans!
It was already given degmo status by Gaas years ago. Also, Bursalax being its own degmo is generally welcomed by both communities; however they refused to share a new council seeing as it's unheard of for two degmo to do so. It was then said that Bursalax is a "beel" or sub district not a real degmo that is recognised internationally (has ramifications on aid) which then angered Reer Bursalax

Leelkase should stick with Puntland else they'll take a massive L in geopolitics of the region. They're Not happy with the current status quo and their seat share in Puntland parliament (they have 3 seats). They revolted couple of times and tried to assemble all Puntland elders conference to increase their seats in 2018 and FAROOLE vetoed their efforts, it was a bloodbath. Ever since then, they reached out to GALMUDUG and sought close partnership. They can break off at any moment.

Leelkase made 2 choices 1 was to make their own state and 2 to join galmudug just because PL refused their demand to have same seats as MJ have combined. They were laughed at especially after they gave seats to dhullos and Speaker of parliament position to Warsans then calacaal about Cadaalad daro.

For someone that's supposedly on the ground working/worked with local government you're woefully ignorant. It was due to politically inept leadership at the time that Leelkase gave away a seat or two, to be rotated between smaller neighbouring clans. They say they did this because they thought the tribal method of electing MPs would be temporary, and because CM had done the same with one of their Mudug seats. it's beyond ridiculous that you claim they gave seats away to Dhulbahante all the way in Sool or that Leelkase demands more than its fair share. 3 seats is not it.
As for the speaker position then it has always been occupied by Warsangali in the current clan power sharing set up. It's only when they refused it trying to get a Warsan president, that Abdirashid was elected. Another nonsensical point.
With the whole threatening to leave thing, this is a form of protest employed by all in PL, including MJ subclans, so using it to disparage clans you don't like is frankly bullshit mate

I feel like Leelkase DO deserve more than 3 seats, in fact their Federal MPs are 5 while their regional Puntland MPs are only 3. That's harshly unfair tbh. For a people who fought so heroically in the civil war beside MJ and SSDF to be treated like that is UNJUST. All clans threatening to leave PL what importance exactly do they have when in reality most don't contribute financially, pay taxes, provide manpower to PL forces or developing the state. If let's say Cumar Maxamuud as example who contribute more to PL forces than all non-MJ clans combined, who control Galkayo financially and 2nd to bosaso port in revenues, who as a clan develop their region with their own money like Garacad port or Galkayo airport, have strong community organizations etc left PL it would devastate PL as a whole. But what can all these clans who left PL or threatening PL have to leave with that PL needs other than being financial and security burdens for the state?

The claim we harboured Alshabab is as fictitious as the claim Iraq harboured WMDs. It's especially outrageous when you consider how many of our best and brightest we've lost to Shabaab/unknown assassins from the esteemed Dr Ahmed Haji Abdirahman RA, one of the founders of EAU in Bosaaso to countless nabadoono and businessesmen in Gaalkacyo, even as recently as a few weeks back! Faroole was the agressesor plain and simple, and the fact that he opposed Gaas in reopening the constitution with regards to seat allocations belies his inexplicable opposition to Leelkase interests.

@Geesood i've been very vocal and open about how real puntites and founders don't have seats especially leelkase who together with SSDF founded PL, Sool Sanaag don't deserve those seats Tanade do and deshishe or ortoble etc Sool should not even have MPs as their districts are under Somaliland. I like and respect Tanade but reer Galdogobs moves with joining GM or leaving PL and spewing MJ cay on social media it's hard to see them as allies or kin as we used to.
Nugaal Tanade are totally different and on top of the game even moved into Taleex district to graze and are more organized it seems.
