I had one of the most terrible 3 weeks of my life when I stayed at Djibouti, years ago. At night, we would drench our baatis in a bucket of water, wring it out and put it back on in our to stay cool. Very stark contrast to Hargeisa, where the nights can actually get quite chilly.

Borama is heavenly, cool breeze, and August rain, T nigguhs should stay near mountains.

The coast is like the only habitable part though. You saw the other photos of the Inlands which is basically volcanic desert.

Djibouti could move it's capital to zelia if it ever takes Awdal. Other than that Djibouti is a city state for a reason, the capital is the only place human life in large numbers can live.

Only if you guys accept a united Somalia, we will allow you to settle on the coast, but you'll need to report to France first.

Awdal is already a big chunk of issa as is our lands into galbeed. Djibouti is a very tiny chunk of Ciise lands. Most the country is Afar land we xooged.

But obviously a United Somalia is the ideal outcome.

I heard Djibouti people usually at summer immigrants to hargisa or jigjiga. Djibouti is the hottest city in the world.

We had AC but I spent most my time outside playing football with the other kids on the streets or on the bridge cause I was like 8 and 12.
I also Remember going to this Yemeni restaurant that sells fish and my abo and his friend were eating and I was burning.

The whole thing was small, wood, packed. It looked like those medieval caverns Walahi

The beaches were nice as well. Until a baby shark touched my leg and we had to leave in case the mother came around for a visit.

I also did a year of schooling there and my dad payed like 60 quid to the local corner shop so I can go after school and get a drink whilst I waited.

I was outside baking in the sun with no pavements, only sand and dirt. Over 40 degrees. For like over an hour chugging down my Fanta whilst making small talk with the Bossman.

We stayed with my mom’s friend, because 1. My mom was too cheap to pay for a hotel. 2. We have no family in Djibouti.

Even with AC, Djibouti City is a shithole. Loads of Oromos and weird Ethiopian squatters. Low development, hot and stinky. But I’ve seen vlogs of Djibouti’s countryside, looks beautiful.
