I saw it a long time ago, my dad saw it 40 years ago. They built an economy in 50 years to rival Europe and America which took centuries due to their own stupidity which they want to pass on and demonize China.
It's great how China does strategical objectives we learned it from them in the 80s as diplomats for Somalia, none of this silly mutual interest crap, everything is a pizza and has slices and parts to it. They add up all the factors they want to see in an equation and then select the one with the best return on investment.

Somalis needs to learn their economic model and it's pitfalls also and also learn American and European models and it's pitfalls which is many that's why progress takes 500 years for these people U adore while it took china 50 years, they cut out the idea of profit into a slice in their equation not the sole objective as the west.
They don't progress the west if their no immediate financial return and why it's slower development model. Can't Somalis learn the best models r usually a blend of all the positives of foreign models to create a super model on steroids not copy n paste U also copy their negatives. Even Islam told them take what's good and leave behind what's bad, it's telling them to blend positives worldwide and keep updating it constantly. It's simple and effective playbook.
U have a huge diaspora to pool from globally and tell them bring us all the successes U see in your country and create a beautiful playbook U know that works. Also go to negative areas and see what doesn't work and what to ban as not useful to make yourself resistant to decay. Untill Somalis learn how to blend things on positivity which means it works and filter the negatives, they can't progress. If U just copy n paste 1 side ur in big trouble as U copy the negatives.
U need to learn to cheat rather then copy n paste one idea why not copy n paste only positive ideas from various sources into a super good idea.

My two cent only demand these social objectives addressed
1. Mass Jobs so mass spending happens in the market and govt taxes grow for public spending
2. Type of jobs need careful assessment and it's value potential, unskilled jobs like farming is for food security not an industry it's lowest valued one and will keep you third world
3. Demand all investors are foreign and local partnership so your business class grow not just his
4. Type of salaries need to be realistic but not to low like the Chinese did. Make it not higher then china but less then the west, so your workers are attractive to investor bottom line and your driving a good bargain for incomes on workers.

Natural resources is the lowest form of economic development as it can run out, industries can change and is volatile, plus it's low potential for mass employment at best a few hundred ppl will work there.

1 major thing I was promoting for years in here but fell on deaf ears is rapid urbanisation and massive wealth has negatives socially as human capital and potential does decline due to comfort and human potential declines in instability and anarchy and too much poverty. Islam already said it, moderation in everything in life is the key to success.
