Botswana, gabon, seychelles and equatorial guinea are all better than north africa, the gdp capita in equatorial guinea is almost 2 times the richest north african country Algeria.

Their population projection for Somalia is wrong and their poverty rate for Somalia is wrong. Somalia's overall poverty rate is 51%, while it is 34% in Ethiopia. The North East of Somalia has an overall poverty rate of 26%, a full 8% below the poverty rate of Ethiopia.

Somalia's population in 2017 was 16 million and in 2050 is projected to reach 36 million.

Shit report, the data is all wrong. Their population number for Somalia in 2017 is off by 30%!

Even these numbers are heavily subsidised by remittances sent from the diaspora and what happens in 2050 when the 3rd or 4th generation of diaspora Somalis have no family connections in Somalia that warrants to send their hard earnt cash back home? The politicians should wake up now to that reality.
