Xamar now is 1000x more developed and economically better than pre 1991. From when Mogadishu reconstruction began in 2011 till today and forever more, hawiye have heavily invested and built xamar. We own most if not all the big buildings and money. Barely any jebartis. Most abgaal and other hawiye invest heavy into xamar. my city and also jowhar where I am from I invest in. Hirshabelle once the agriculture is heavily invested in will be 1000x better than your desert barren land which has no patch of grass whatsoever. Seseme seed exportation alone will make us much more wealthy than puntland

We are happy with our land, whether it is semi-arid or whether we turn it into farmland. Furthermore, we have real-estate in Jubbaland. So I don't know who you are bragging to? Not only do we grow everything you can find in South Somalia in Puntland, we also have dates and frankincense. Why are you threatening people who don't need nor envy you in the slightest? All sorts of farms are springing up all over Puntland and soon we will not need to import anything from the South but people think they can threaten us or even funnier, that we are jealous of them.

Later, they repented and jaalle siad barre forgave them and they were part of the government until the very end and I’m not holding a grudge against the usc but their role in the destruction of xamar when Siad barre left xamar intact why looting? Why did aidid refuse to recognise Ali Mahdi as president when he was chosen ? Why did aidid reject the cease fire which allowed Siad barre and a new government to be formed ? These are the things you should ask yourself rather than holding on to a city that is barely functioning with constant violence
