RIP the Mauritanian Moors. Mauritania will be swallowed up by West Africans.

The Algerians and Moroccans understand demographics is destiny. Any info on Tunisia & Egypt regarding freedom of movement?

as freedom of movement is concerned :gucciwhat: :gucciwhat::gucciwhat:

Easing of movement wouldn't be so bad for encouraging highly skilled workers or wealthy Businessmen/Investors to gain business visas/work permits, but mass movement of low-skilled labourers would be terrible.

southern Mauritania has historically always been black, and the rest will be fine in the long run because Arabization still takes its course regardless of the race

Mass movement just seems dumb for non niger congo countries, nigeria alone has a population that could send waves throughout Africa and still maintain its population. Anyone with common education and insight into africas demographic history understands this(or in the case of maghrebis just useful racism:))

Unfortunately with freedom of movement treaty, a Country cannot separate who to allow

or not, weather rich or poor-it's an all movement treaty.

This is how it goes, when it comes to regional Economic integration:

A-The Single market.
B-The freedom of Goods and Services.
C-The free movement of People.
D-Monetary Union aka Single Currency.

Countries can opt-in or out.

Smart Gov'ts have opted-out of the Monetary Union and Freedom of Movement components of economic integration.

I heard there is an "African Union Passport" being developed, I believe it'll be issued to the citizens of countries that have opted-in to the Freedom of Movement protocol.

I'm fairly confident Somalia will sign up to the Freedom of Movement protocol, since the Somali Gov't has shown Pan-Africanist leanings in the past especially when they applied to join the EAC.

Thankfully the application was frozen. Hopefully they'll reject it like Sudan's.

Sudan's application was rejected on the grounds of systematic racism and genocide being conducted by Sudanese Arabs against Black Africans.

I doubt Somalia's application will be rejected. The only thing holding back Somalia from being admitted is the political instability & ongoing conflict. Hence why it was frozen.
