Germany suspends puntland funda due to corruption

Wow the small punani state is really struggling these days, high level corruption, aid funds suspended, unpaid soldiers and civil servants who are looting and holding government buildings hostage.

It's much better that they suspended the funds instead of ending up in the wrong hands.

It wasn't due to corruption but not maintaining the agreed timelines of the management. Xoolos wanted the money to be paid upfront of the next phase before they even finalised the previous phases.

No money got lost and the funds can be allocated to other projects.

The Odays in Puntland are something else. For every km a road passes by a Tuulo, an unregistered Suldaan wants a cut from the project.

This is why self funded projects are perfect, hire your own security and karbash any Oday that asks questions.

Who's to blame for this costly incompetence?!! In my opinion Abdiwali Gaas and the Puntland Highway association (PHA) that gave the contract of this project to a local fake company Is-Xilqaan headed by Xaawo Cad aka the millionaire importer of Khat in Mudug. She's Reer Cabdille (Gaas's sub sub sub clan).

Gaas gave the contract of this significant project that could've changed people's lives to a mere corrupt KHAT importer out of Qabyaalad instead of giving it to the competent Turkish company that had already built the beautiful Road to the presidential palace of Garowe.

No. China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (GCECC) will implement the project. GCECC is also launching (or already launched not sure) the modernization project of Galkacyo Airport.
