It looks like Georgia and Arizona are going to go the way of Colorado and Virginia in the future, permanently blue states when it comes to the senate and the presidential.

It makes sense in a way given that Georgia and Arizona have more than half of their state population in one metro. The US is splitting into urban vs rural/exurban.

unlikely to be the case. herschel walker lost by only a few tenths of a percent of the vote and he was borderline retarded. if the GOP had selected a more competent candidate they might have one. The senate races in Virginia and Colorado are much less close

That small margin win is usually how it starts. Keep in mind that Republicans can win, its just going to be harder and harder going forward.

Colorado had a Republican senator less than 2 years ago, but it is steadily turning bluer. Lauren Boebert almost lost an R+6 seat.

a small winning margin is the start of many things historically, obama's small margin in 2012 wasn't the start of democrats locking up the vote in ohio, it was the start of democrats permanently losing ohio. You will probably bring up 'trends' but trends don't mean shit either when you only got two data points.
lauren boebert is a retard like walker is, seems like the trend is retards have a hard time getting elected
