It's funny how we remember Hitler and the horrors of the holocaust, yet most people have no idea who King Leopold ll was, a man that is easily twice the monster Hitler was.
Congo was one of the major killing grounds of modern time, resulting in the deaths of 8 to 10 million Congolese, literally half of the population. Yet, it is fairly under the radar in the standard litany of our century's horrors. Sadly, not that many people are aware of the atrocities that took place in Congo.
