Gender-reassignment surgery is a thing, you know. People that were men can now get vaginas. In a few years, they may even be able to have kids.

You are repeatedly punching yourself in the face with your statement. Let me help you win against me, abaayo. Below is a scenario in which you could beat me in a debate.

Halimo: If people can identify as different genders, I want to identify as age 21.

Periplus: Age and gender is different. People can look like men/women with surgery, I cannot reverse or forward my age with surgery. Gender is the only thing that we can definitively change with surgery today.

Halimo: So if I bleach my skin white and cosmetically got caucasian features, can I be identified as a white woman if I wanted to?

Periplus: Technically, but it is different as your identity is Somali which is a dark-skinned country and your parents are African.

Halimo: Well transexuals are born as a specified gender, with its DNA and bone structure as well as growing into said gender. It is just socially acceptable to change gender based on feeling but not race.

Personally, I am indifferent on the LGBT community. I hope they get the rights demanded to them in a secular country and that is about it. No hate and no love, just indifference.

Dave Chappelle once said that the LGBT community would never have been accepted if it were Black people advocating for it. I completely agree, which is why I am indifferent.

But the amount of absolute stupidity I have seen by some SSpot users has made me defend a community I am not even part of. The amount of threads I have seen about a community that barely exists in the Somali community makes me think that all the threads are one poster with similar nicks or it is a massive troll job.

Surely there cannot be this many Somali people obsessed with this issue.
