In Sweden they want to implement a gender neurtral pronoun . Because they view the terms he or she as discriminatory terms.

Introducing a gender neutral word isn't really a bad thing. Many language have gender neutral words so it isn't really a new thing to humanity.

Any swedens here who can verify if this is being heavily implemented? And does the word hen roll of the tongue as easily as he or she in swedish.

European languages are controlled by their respective governments and national media, while English is like a free floating language with no strict linguistic control on it. Euro governments have previously 'banned' or 'memed' new words from the top-down that were later no longer used or accepted by the masses.

I didn't know that some European countries control their language.

It seems kinda pointless to ban an actual word. Why would countries even bother doing that? Do you know any examples?

A gender neutral pronoun is actually useful when talking about someone whose identity you don't know but you just know that Sweden is doing this for the trannies.

They don't actually ban it with fines, but what they do is change writing style guides used by mainstream journalists and bureaucrats and eventually these words then catch on to the wider public.

The other day there was a big debate about this pictograph in the train, where a woman is holding a baby and yelling at her husband (could also just be a wifi sign). The train in DK is divided into different noise zones. Feminist where really angry at this pictograph :mjlol:
