Some kids have benefited from staying in Somalia or Kenya for a few years, they come back motivated and hard working because they have a sense of gratitude for living in a Western country after witnessing extreme poverty. And i think thats the point, its to teach the kids to be grateful that they live in a Western country so do your best.

There’s low chance of them kids coming back motivated or rectified. They usually come back resentful and even worse. They feel betrayed.

Anyways, Somalis in somalia need dhaqancelis more than the diaspora. I know, because, I go back a lot. I always feel that the diaspora girls have been falsely labeled. One should see the ones back home. They’ve turned snapchat, tiktok and IG into rudimentary OnlyFan. They collect followers there. These hungry fobs in the US, usually a truck driver, DM’s them. You see, if they had no other choice. The best they could’ve done was to sabsab. Give that child a great life back home. Stay with him/her for few months. Vacation together. Take her to Berbera beach. Take her on a quick trip to Addis Ababa. Be super nice with her. Introduce her aunt to her. Let them establish a relationship. Go settle in a mid-size town like Cerigavo. Don’t settle her in a big city like Hargeisa. Hargeisa she’ll find degenerates. DO NOT PUT THAT GIRL IN A CILAAJ (bootleg Somali style “rehab”). Let Eedo and other be nice to her while advising her.
