Why do us somali do well in Maths and struggle in English. Like back in the days I got A in my Maths but C in English, I think the gradings are now in numbers, it's very confusing, 6 and 7 ????

In the uk Somalis tend to do English better then maths

They changed it back in 2018 6 is C and 7 is B

In the uk Somalis tend to do English better then maths

In my School majority of Somalis got A and B, we went on to do A level Maths, C1 to C4, S1 and M1 as well. But majority of us flopped the English C and D. Maybe the new generation are different and are better at English than Maths.

4 and 5 are the equivalent to C ,6 and 7 are the equivalent to c 8 is A and 9 is A* overall a bit confusing but only a four is needed to pass and it’s not hard to get but I need 6s and 7s for the a levels I wanna do
