What was the 2008 like? Were we the last on the list

Was only a study in two diff schools about 20 years ago , but these students would have been straight from civil war days so its not a fair comparison. There is no data for somali attainment in highschool countrywide , if there is you can do a FOI request to find out more though.

Somalis never used to do that well in school when they first immigrated here, I think people still think we’re still getting the same grades.

There was a freedom of information request for 2017/18 A-Levels at the 3 A’s or A*’s level and Somali’s were slightly below Nigerians but above Ghanaians.

Somali’s either do really well or poorly so the overall stats would have a strange distribution.
