This isn't the first time, nor will it be the last. Two months ago, BBC Somali reporters outright lied about the Oromo situation in Ethiopia:

The BBC Somali arm is supposed to be an impartial news source for Somali current affairs, regardless of regions/states (SL, PL, GM etc.) However, it's been hijacked by pro-Wanlaweyn/southern folks hence the blatant lies and bias against SL.

British taxpayers money is being used to further the agenda of individuals/groups in the third world for crying out loud!


Overall, BBC Somali is what I call #MooryaanNews, not #FakeNews
