Garowe as new capital?

The town has by far the best planning anywhere in Somalia and its because it was built from scratch in 91 carefully by the PL admin. I went there 2018 and the roads network was acc on upper 2nd world standard. Hotels acc look like hotels and have decent colour, people there are peaceful and businesses are booming.

Only criticism is could give is that we need to greenify the city more. Every household must have at least a tree on its plot and all school children must plant trees as part of their curriculum. Mashallah reer Garowe and keep up the good work

It's already a regional capital. FGS needs to strengthen Xamar.

It's not really a competition Xamar is huge compared to Hargeisa. Bosaso is only 400k and Hargeisa is 6-800 K. Meanwhile Xamar has 3 million + population and one of the fastest growing cities in the world.

We need factories in Xamar, shove the people in there and export textiles,electronics etc.
