Garoowe leaders: Deni betrayed Nugaal by not appointing the Senator he promised them

First the community warned the governor of PL, MrDeni:

Reer Nugaal oo Deni uga digay waa khasab inuu magacaabo ina Faarax Gaas


They told him to reappoint Ibraahim Faarax Gaas to his FGS Senate seat. Deni selected someone else.

Ibraahim Faarax Gaas both he and the Garoowe community were betrayed. Mr Gaas said, "waa arrin dulmi ah, waa arrin dulmi ah" subxaaanalah. Gaas: "dhageyso dhawaaq kasoo yeedhaya culimada"
Translation of Mr Gaas message to PL governor Deni: listen to the scholars, (what you did) is oppression.




Now, Mr Gaas spoke:


Mr Gaas said that Deni betrayed the Garoowe community by ignoring community elders, who choose Mr Gaas as their senator. Deni at first promised to appoint Gaas. Then he appointed someone else for the reerGaroowe seat. Garoowe is the capital of PL province so ignoring the main community of Garoowe can be problematic for PL.




We pray for amicable resolution of this dispute between reerNugaal and Puntland's rulers, Mr Deni and his AaranJaan faction from Xorgoble and Qardho

Again, they already warned Deni about this.

Roughly translated we will fight to regain the Senate seat, if the seat is denied to us by Deni.




The next shoe to drop is what is done by the community that feels betrayed by AaranJaan, and lied to by Deni. As aways pray for peace in Somaaliweyn and the whole world

Here's an idea: How about awarding senate seats on the basis of qualifications.
