Polygamy is not haram so why do “Muslim” men hide their other wives from each other like a gaalo hiding his mistress from his wife. It’s because you know they won’t accept it so you lie to the mother of your children to give you some sort of human decency when you’re literal scum and a deceiver who can’t hold his wife’s rights.

Its because they werent honest with their 1st wife to begin with they married someone whose against polygamy and hide it from her because that will ruin their marriage with her its cowardly

Because of the harmful and negative effects it causes society. In those types of marriages, the husband does not treat the wife like a wife but a glorified mistress. The children from such a union are not treated the same as the children of the wife that has full rights. Marriage is also about building families and raising kids in stable homes.

Even some scholars who actually thought it was okay, retracted their views because of the problems it causes:

Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allaah have mercy on him) used to say that it was permissible, then he stopped saying that because of the negative effects, as it was poorly applied by some wrongdoers.

Like I said, this isn't a situation any father or brother would want for their daughter/sister. So why would you advocate it for other Muslim women?

It isn't just my opinion. Anyone with common sense can see the harm it can cause. You can see it as well, which is why you wouldn't want it for a woman in your family.
