That has nothing to do with a 2nd wife, nor does it negate that she was his first wife and his favourite.

Read the entire Sura. Allah swt is reminding the Prophet pbuh of all the blessings he gave him. The Prophet pbuh said if you can not afford marriage, then fast. The Prophet pbuh was too poor to marry Khadijah let alone a second wife

Ibn Kathir usually explains ayahs and I have not seen that explanation before from him or any other classical scholar.

After Islam the prophet S.A.W became very poor because the people of mecca were trying to boycott him. For 15 yrs he lived with Khadijah before Islam and I have not read that he was poor then.

The Prophet pbuh in a famous hadith said to marry a fertile women so he can be proud of our numbers on qiyama. The purpose of marriage is to have as many children as possible and the Prophet pbuh married 9 wives at once.

The Prophet pbuh as well as all the Prophets except Yahya pbuh were polygamists. Yahya pbuh did not marry at all

Chaste is the moral and physical purity. Not being indecent at all. There is a subtle difference.

Virginity only refers to the penetrative act of intercourse. Someone can claim to be a virgin but engage in other sexual acts. They are not chaste even though they are virgin.

We are laymen and need the help of scholars. We follow madhabs and take the rulings of people of knowledge for a reason.
