Kenyan police are some Hasid people so make sure you have some shillings stashed away to give to them if your stopped at a border checkpoint or they start harrasing you for bribes.

There is only one police/military checkpoint after mwingi town where everybody disembarked from the bus, and show their identification documents to the police/military. They may also ask you to come out with your luggage for inspection.

If you have a passport and visa there is nothing to worry about, those guys are not your normal police ,they are there specifically to check weapons and shabab.
