Coastal Sanaag is almost twice as far as Garacad is to Las Anod. Why would SSC use a port there? It would be more economical to go with the nearest port. Also the road from Sanaag would be more costly as it would have to cover mountainous terrain
Plus that region is already connected to Bosaso port and doesn’t have a need to build another one

The Harti side of coastal Sanaag is apart of PL so a port there would be no different than Garacad, just less economical. SSC is currently an interim FMS. Once the two years have passed, we’ll see it become a full FMS
If SSC do this … they should just join Puntland…
it makes no sense to say we fms if Sanaag won’t join you and now you using Puntland port…
