Even if you dont like them atleast give them credit for their past achievements such as Garowe airport, Bosaso airport, etc.

Reer Saaxo and cabuqdwaaq will benefit from this as well and the other nearby MX. There should be collaborations to build more roads to connect the region

Puntland receives millions from FGS, this false pretense that it is private investment goes out of the window, when ever you hear Puntland is doing something, that is FGS money it is doing it with. Puntland is building an illegal port on disputed territory, with FGS money, if it invested the funding it gets from the FGS correctly Qardho would not be under water and in need of rescuing.

I've been hearing about Hobyo port since 2011 being backed by one of the gulf states and government of Somalia. Do u have any updates on that? Or were they all those just political stunts?

Garacad has 2 natural harbours, deep ocean and doesn't suffer from the issues Hobyo does. Which is why back in the 60s there was discussions regarding Garacad port, it didn't happen and in the 80s Barre wanted to tap into the oil in PL hence why he built Bosaso port before he was ousted.

Berbera also has a natural deep water port which is why it's been a historically significant trading center. Hobyo would need dredging and other work to even make a harbour with proper depth

Horta Galkacyo too Bosaso road trip is safe the problem for us is traversing in Horde land past Galkacyo too Cabudwaaq. We can solve this issue if a road is built between Galdogob too Garacad, we can then connect Doolo/Wardheer regions from Galaadi to Cabudwaaq.

I hope DDSI strikes a deal with PL to reduce taxes at the border.

Horta Galkacyo too Bosaso road trip is safe the problem for us is traversing in Horde land past Galkacyo too Cabudwaaq. We can solve this issue if a road is built between Galdogob too Garacad, we can then connect Doolo/Wardheer regions from Galaadi to Cabudwaaq.

Indeed, Garacad-Galdogob has a road project going on, DDS and Ethiopia is currently moving forward and building new road to the Somali border. Oromia and the Ethiopian counselor are very optimistic about this since they want a port on the Indian ocean. Cabudwaaq is not far away so building a road should not be an issue, it's time we focused on trade and money instead of fighting in Mudug.
