If im not wrong Baabili signed itself over to oromia and are no longer apart of galbeed. Regardless do you really think they will use the hobyo port (nonexistent) when garacad has already been built. Even garacad wont really be what will be used for some time by galbeed as most traffic will go through either Berbera or Bosaso.
Also whats with calling anti-NN foreigners this admin is up for criticism you cant actually expect everyone to love it after all there ginormous blunders.

Baabili is split b/w Galbeed and Oromo state. The goal is for it to be fully incorporated into Galbeed. Regardless that doesn’t affect trade, as in it’s still the same people regardless of what claims them.
Its not a competition with the ports you’ve mentioned but Hobyo it supposed to be a world class port able to facilitate this level of trade.
Same people who live in Baabili, to the south of it down to Imey and down the Shabelle live in GM and finally have representation in it.
Anway it’s not a competition we as Somalis can afford multiple ports with our coast line I just know of the potential of Hobyo and what we’re working towards.

Well when I said that in this thread I was speaking about Galmudug specifically. As in NN will usher in an age of peace and development for it. While it was a fragmented desert with no institutions before. (Fragmented by all clans including and especially my own before anyone calacaals to me).

It’s unreasonable for me to support NN when they’ve given my people to ethiopians even though they claim to be my government. Somalia can remain in its borders which is entirely different as a policy than labeling Ogadens as foreigners even though they are not and handing them over to an enemy state.
Somali region has not received a referendum i dont know how else to respond to that.
Ogaden war wasnt what caused the civil war thats a cope to try and hide the treacherous nature of the people in power during that time period. Nobody forced the SSDF or SNM or the USC to go full out ape mode that was of their own volition. Keep in mind the actual civil war started around 24 years after 1977.
yes i mean we wont ruin the progress of peace we have made so far by actively fighting Ethiopia or kenya by claiming thier lands so for that reason im of the few that only accepts somalia borders as it is now however i do agree that we should keep and protect all Somalis regardless of nationalities as they are all Somali
somali region has a referendum that will take place after the somali regional elections so thats another reason why somalia doesnt want to provoke ethiopia or all the years of hardwork gaining galbeed freedom will be lost
so far now Somalia will respect and honor their neighbors in peace and will work to maintaining the peace and help rebuild the country we have now that's the main focus
