According to some rumors, Turkey has already decided to step in into Yemen similar as it did in Libya. Yemeni Al-Islah Party is pushing hard for it. That's why the UAE-backed STC forces captured strategically important Socotra island. The governor of the island, Ramzi Mahrous, is pro-Turkish.
I think there is a correlation to the above with the recent Qatari visit to Galmudug and the Turkish plans for the naval base in Galmudug.
I believe it is only a matter of time before Turkey starts drilling for oil and gass off the coast of Somalia. We need to overcome Kenya's dirty games of delays in the maritime demarcation dispute.
