I came across this blithering idiot atheist who is more qabilist than the morons over at somnet. Part of the reason I'm an atheist is to get away from the bullshit family ties and lineage that lead to the misery Somalia is in today. I can't believe there are "atheists" out there that hold qabil in high regard.

Do you have a link for me with all the basic info about qabiils? And where they are known for?
You don't know what qabiils are? Their extended family groups, or clans. There are large clans like Darod, Hawiye, Isaaq, RW etc. and they're broken down into smaller clans (i.e. Majeerteen is broken down into Ali Saleban and others etc.). They are known for having a herd mentality, discouraging personal responsibility and collective punishment (xeer) etc. Look it up on wiki or something, lol

No! Why would I care for people that would probably kill me if they had the chance to :nahgirl:

Somalis in the west who are qabiilist tend to be NEETs who leech off the government, absolutely useless """people""":farole:

You're inexorably linked to qabil and lineage, so I can't see how a change of faith would separate you from that.

I'm not a qabiliste, but I understand it.

I didn't become atheist to get away from qabil, I'm already as far away from it as I possibly can be. I became an atheist bc religion is irrational. If you became an atheist to get away from qabil, you're confused af.

Qabil is meaningless nonsense. Somalis always fight to the death over something as petty as qabil lmao muppets

Can you not see how religion (Islam) is intermingled with Qab

I think that depends largely on the clan making those stereotypes. I think there's a universal stereotype about Hawiye that goes something like they're all thugs or somehow dishonest. That's obviously absurd but I think it's out there.

Qabil has nothing to do with Islam. Just bc they claim lineage to Prophet Mohammed due to Islamization, doesn't make it inherently intermingled with Islam as a concept. The entire world has had qabil systems.

Unfortunately, qabil is intertwined with identity in Somali culture.

For f*ck's sake, the person you were talking to lost her mother to qabil conflict, and you pretend to be shocked that she's a qabilist just bc she's atheist. I mean, come on.

Anyways @Axmed Xaji I have read some of your posts and you present terribly articulated arguments in your crusade here to de-convert Muslims from Islam.

But your attempt at trying to suggest that Islam is somewhat associated or perhaps fueling Qabil is absolute non-sense.
Seriously go take a hiatus again and come back with something better :mjlol:
