Anything north of Beledweyne is basically a desertFucking hell..they need to plant more trees wallahi, the place look so dry
Well they can atleast plant some plants which can easily adapt to desert conditions.Anything north of Beledweyne is basically a desert
Nah it's not that bad in PL.. They just need to start using technology.if somalia was peacefu and clans didn't exist. most of the population should theoretically be living in the south around jubbaland and lowershabelle/banadiir region.

Somalis lack organisation and system.. They thrive in chaos and un systemic un organized conditions.. I guess this must be something encoded into the Somali DNA.Waryaaya look how dense it is Somalis have no idea about urban planning if the city was properly planned it would much larger and then trees could have designated planting areas.
Yeah but PL is not a complete desert.. Humans have been living in the area for thousands of years. They just need to use technology and also control the environment through green initiatives and the place will be turned into paradise.look at Australia for example or Egypt. huge countries that are mostly desert. most of the population lives in a small area of the country, with a few towns in the desert.

Watch this and come back again, you pessimistend of the day its hard for a desert to support a huge and industrialized population.
its why people from fertile countries usually have a way bigger population than desert countries.
desert is a hard place to live.
Nah sxb, there are some places in the north that isAnything north of Beledweyne is basically a desert
They should prioritize city planning and also controlling the environment.. It's very important for the development of the country. It is probably the 4th or 5 biggest town in Somalia.
@Abdisamad Galkacyo actually has plenty of underground water and the city government should be capable of planting more trees and watering them on a daily basis. It is an outcome of mismanagement.
@KawhiLeonard Mudug is not really a desert. It looks like one due to overgrazing. It is actually a grassland. You would be able to see what it is supposed to look like if grazing stopped for a few years. It is not supposed to look like a desert during the dry season, but more like this:

Unfortunately, we are constantly grazing the land so it never reaches its natural state.
