Option 2 is the best solution
Option 2 is good for the short term, but for the long term, if the city and Somalia likewise grows to be bigger and better, the people will have to reconcile, if not then the animosity will take over and halt any progress and/or divide the city further.

Insha'Allah whatever happens everything will out for the better.

Galkacyo cannot be shared because the people who found a city naturally own it outright. MJ founded Galkacyo and to share it with people who have always been outsiders is unacceptable. Below is physical proof. I used to think we could share the town, but I would much rather have it under the control of those to whom it has always belonged. The Hawiye can stay, but Galmudug must be forced out of Galkacyo. Galkacyo has fallen far short of what it could have been for the past 25 years, and this can all be blamed upon it being divided. Galkacyo was the third largest city in the Somali republic in 1960 and it is now perhaps the 5th or 6th largest, all due to insecurity.

The first building ever in Galkacyo, the fort of the Sultan of Hobyo, built towards the end of the 19th century.

qabilism is toxic. but when people are starving and dirt poor, illiterate and with mild retardation you can't expect them to do better. until we get a strong and patriotic leader we will always be divided.

btw is gaaljecel = lover of foreigners?

The "the people who founded it naturally own it outright" is a weak arguement though. Even the Sultan if Hobyo did not found the city, nor did any of his relatives. Cities are known to switch populations or rulers, and the only constant in a city is often the city itself. One example being Istanbul.

If a city was to stay in control of whom it had always belonged, the situation in Somalia would be drastically different. Especially in the South from where you hail (if I remember correctly) since there has been major migration there in the last few hundred years. I'm not condemning anything or attacking you, just pointing out a flaw in your argument.

Majerteen owns Galkacayo. The moryaans need to accept that fact and stop begging it. MJs need to do Abdullahi Yusuf AUN style and cleanse that trash!

The thing I cannot fathom is how the galmudug administration is fighting for revenue to be shared. They are fighting for a share of the airport revenues.

:what1: I can't have read that wrong.

The responses they got from the Galnus civillians are just outrageous.
:faysalwtf: people can't actually think like that right?

I thought Cabdullahi Yusuf was the man that let them settle in the city as fellow Somalis. Am I wrong?

Aydid did the mistake of making an agreement with these Mjs when they were defeated. He should have simply just banish them from all of Mudug.

Security wall like Kenya is currently building, guarded by soldiers, both sides fund the wall.

That is a good wall. Very sturdy and seethrough indeed.

The best part is that you can see if there are some skinny world vision international looking Galnus militias on the other side. The only problem now is the establishing a buffer zone b/w the Great Land of Punt and the Galnus administration.

Everything the man does was a mistake, even he himself was a mistake. :russ:
He couldn't even secure Presidency of Somalia, let alone the Presidency of Mogadishu. He was outclassed Cabdullahi Yusuf, the great defender of Mudug, the Restorer of Governance to Mooryania.

Best part was Aidiid's death. Killed by his own people :chrisfreshhah:. What kind of hero dies like that :russ::russ:

There should be a militarised buffer zone just like there is between North Korea & South Korea there's really nothing else to it.

It's a shame the same people we welcomed into galkacyo during the colonial era due to somalinimo when we agreed as Somalis any Somali can like anywhere are the ones who's claiming the land belongs to them now.

Tell me waryaa.

What is the premise of the HG claim over the city? Is there an old text that says the land belonged to Hawiye 3000 years ago like there is for the Jews to claim Jerusalem. As far as I know the name HG isn't messaged in the history at all. Prove that your people 'own' the city.

You are my guest, you ought to behave yourself. There are etiquettes to being a guest, you can't just run a mess less you get thrown out of the house.
