WFP they go to developing countries with their free aid food, and the stupid governments in those countries, instead of buying from their farmers accept the food aid. Our farmers in Somalia was complaining for years that they were bringing the food aid during harvest time. That's how they make nations dependent on them, by competing out the local farmers.

Somalia doesn't make enough for 15 million, the land is there but the know how isn't and most of what is grown are cash crops.

So it wouldn’t matter. We need the aid till the FGS actually controls those lands and finds farmers who are educated in agriculture for productive yields.

Of course those farmers would complain. They want to sell at insane prices because they’d have a gaajo population with little access to food without that aid.

We actually bought some land in Shabellaha Hoose. I would love it if the US cut their aid because I could sell food etc for tens time the amount. The cost of that however is 5 million dead Somalis

No sxb we do have farms and large arable land and the know how is there, but there is no effort being made in supporting our farmers at all. We have become to accustomed to aid from foreigners, and that's why we are in acute need now.

Why would the us cut the food aid sxb, as they say "he who feeds u owns u"! We are a nation dependent on foreigners for survival and that have made sure that no effort is being made for us to escape that. They will be with us for years to come and steal our resources while we discuss which clan is more laandheere than the other
