Hell they didn’t even join the UN until 2002 after a very close referendum, whereas we had to join for independence, Plus we’re a developing nation and do you think we can change our borders without picking a side. 1) Alignment- we don’t wanna be too aligned to either the western or eastern bloc but it’s impossible to take a non aligned posture in the current political climate so I’d suggest one similar to turkey whos western oriented but takes a mediator role. for example despite being a nato member turkey still bought Russian defense missiles. If it’s possible for them to play the mediator role while still being western oriented I’d say we should have a similar outlook .Ideally I’d like be non aligned. I think it’s possible if we centralise but getting the country off its feet while being non aligned is impossible, they would have too much leverage over us

Really? i think it would also be wise for us to use oil as a springboard and from there diversify with solar farms , wind farms and hydro farms with better irrigation systems and hydroponic systems set in place to effectively combat the drought and ensure another doesnt happen again.

Yeah of course. And if we diversify and we’re not so reliant in oil we’re in a better geopolitical position to keep a monopoly on oil. I don’t wanna make some ugly country like Dubai with 8 lane roads.
