Hijab is waajib, if you are a muslim you shouldn't have a problem with it.

Here is one of the top comments and an immediate rated reply ..the hidden anti Islam agenda is too clear to ignore.

French person here : hypothetical and performative ESPECIALLY considering how France / French people treat Muslims. Don’t get me started on how the treat Muslim women and those who wear hidjab.

As an Iranian, I feel that comments like this distract and deflect. The issue for Iranian women is compulsory hijab (among other oppressions). We're not talking about the right of women in other countries to wear the hijab. This is about the right of women in Iran to NOT wear the hijab and the oppression that is attendant to the forced wearing of it--the oppression of bodily autonomy, the fear of not complying perfectly, the fear of the morality police and state-sanctioned violence

Why are yall so bothered ? Iranian women are LITERALLY GETTING K*LLED AND R*PED for simply not wearing a hijab, while your asses are comfortable sitting in a free privilleged western country. France being hypocrites or not isn't the point, even in this reddit replies there are Iranians applauding these french actresses for shedding light to the horrendous things happening to innocent women in Iran.
