Ironically, it was the Fourth Crusade that enabled the Ottoman Turks to then successfully conquer Constantinople two centuries later.

Eastern and Central Europe would be a playground for the Turks for the next 500 years. :siilaanyolaugh:

The dream of Nur al Din, the Turk atabeg of Aleppo seeing his Crusader and Byzantine enemies vanquished would have made him smile in his grave. :gaasdrink:
