No. Today was the last day but seems like they can’t agree on a national committee that oversees elections and some of them wanted a parliamentary system and not a presidential.

It all goes to parliament now, HSM stuck to his position that we need a Presidential system, the mucaarad will appeal to the parliament.
At least there seems to be some sort of positive in that they accept the Parliament’s ability to make decisions on the constitution

Nah you clearly haven’t been following what was happening in Somalia between 2017-2021. Truth be told no one in the modern history of Somalia gets close to him and has been recognised both nationally and internationally and if anyone is going to be the president next election it will most likely be him. I was in Mogadishu 2017-2019. The guy was being praised left and right for putting in so much work. Helped further build the army and made sure everyone gets paid on time electronically to avoid corruption, helped reconcile and build Galmudug state by uniting different factions. Helped build the stadium, theatre etc Visited every federal state, every corner of the country, to talk to and understand everyone’s needs. Arguably the busiest PM and politician we ever seen.
