Jowhar faces the Kebab threat from the north, east, and south. And if the Americans actually leave then likely the west too since that is where the Americans are deployed.

The city and the gobol at large face instability and the damage of climate change, the fact he went to Johar and pearl clutched at a minor issue in the face of this is wild to me- clearly too shielded all his life.


I am not saying open defecation is a good thing- no this should be prevented. But it isnt the worst thing to happen in Jowhar.
