The whole nation is in absolute political turmoil over what you must ask? It's not the well being of the masses but HSM and the Parliament personal interest not the civilian interest.

HSM has 2 years left and like all presidents with 2 years left they cause a national security disaster or begin constitutional reform or 1m1v jambals so when the time arrives in 2026 they will ask for a 2 year extension arguing they need more time to finish elections.

What's more scary is the change of the presidential system, HSM only did that because under the parliamentary system in the legal 2012 constitution a president only has two terms limits and under this new presidential system he can run as much as he wants.

He then sent bribes to mps and telling them they will also get a minimum two year extension and should pass it. So the parliament lost its national status and now fall under the executive and not a separate independent equal organ. That's what farmaajo and PL govt mean when they say Dano gaar ayaa Laga lee yahay the constitutional changes.
