That's not enough they need to close mosques, schools, buses, all gatherings at least for few weeks this is ridiculous.

Agree with all of those, but mosque closure will be difficult, last time they tried it led to a near armed conflict.
That’s impossible in Somalia. Last time they rioted for “stay indoors” policy. They have to be outside to make a living and move around. If the government could give each citizen money to stay home then cool, but if they can’t they’ll have to leave them be.

Yes they can go to work but need stop places that allow people to congregate I.e mosques. I live in a Muslim country and mosques were closed for nearly a year, even now theres social distancing, wudu and toilets closed, no kids or elderly allowed,Friday prayer is done in 10 minutes khutbah included. This is life and death!
People going to work catch it just the same. Traveling and walking around the city as well. Sure you can close the mosques but would it make a significant difference to Covid numbers? Most likely not.
What they need is the vaccine but there not a government skilled enough to evenly distribute the vaccine so all in all a pretty fucked situation.
I will always respect him for working with the late Somali President Colonel Abdullahi Yusuf(AUN). Abgaal are great leaders and businessmen too. I hope Ali Ghedi comes back to the picture soon enough. He is another great man. It didn’t end well at the end but it is politics at the end of the day.
