It takes about a year for full effect. Remember the main aim of finasteride is to stop further balding, not necessarily to regrow hair thats been lost

Finasteride is short term solution..once you stop taking the pill your hair loss will continue ..do u want to be on that pill the rest of your life? HT or going bald is the way to go as it’s a permanent solution. Some guys can really pull off the bald look

if you're 95% bald on top , you don't need finasteride since most of your native hair is gone anyways.

That's why they strongly recommend gettng a HT when you're in your 40s and completely bald.

if you have good donor hair and you're a norwood 7 and you're in your 40s, you most likely don't need to get on fin

what doses are you taking per day? 0.5mg? I plan on taking 1mg every other day.

Just did a blood test today and got the prescription.

I take 1mg every day, but I think taking 1mg every other day if fine. I do this because I can tolerate it well.

nah, I went to turkey and fixed my loses. I hated applying Rogaine whether it's liquid or foam. Now, I just need to protect what I have. It's sad that some of the guys that went to Turkey think they solved this issue permanently. However, baldness is progressive and you need you use Fin to stop further loses since your donor area is limited. They don't want to listen and use Fin when I tell them. The majority of Somali dudes are clueless.

Yeah Im iffy about minoxidil. I have 2 pet cats that I saved and read that minoxidil can fatally kill them.

No it didn't, but it stopped further loses.

No side effects at all, and it's oral tablets.

alright guys took my first finasteride 1.25mg pill today. Will stick to 2-3x a week.

Consult doctor . In America Finnesteride is prescribed drug. Many have had success,some no effect , and 3rd group is those with major side effects. They will probably be most vocal but it’s still cautionary tale to be aware of as the pill impacts hormones.

side effects: ball aches, low sperm count, watery seaman, gyno(male boobs), loss of libido , erectile dysfunction, dropped free tester one.
