But it's not just that though. I can count quite a few threads on them in this section alone. It's really disproportionate, since they don't give Somalis any time of day. We really need to stop obsessing over these people, the actions of their government is not an excuse.

Do you mean they are mentioned a lot or? I've only seen that place briefly and it looks like a really shit buggy version of somnet. I don't see anything about Somalis.

It isn't even really about Somalispot but Somali social media as a whole seems to have this weird thing with xabashi. I have more in common with Muslims from west Africaand north Africa than Ethio/Eris, our paths don't cross in real life, so i was confused by this online obsession we have with them. I don't know, maybe I'm overanalyzing.

Must be a slow day. I remember checking a while ago and seeing every third thread mentioning Somalis. They must have had a sudden wave of interest in us or something. Similar things happen on this website. You get a bunch of threads all vaguely related. Sometimes about marriage. Sometimes about religion. Sometimes about politics.

It is weird, I don't think you're overanalysing. Somalis in general are far too loud online for my liking, for such a small population our reputation precedes us. Other groups know more about our opinions of them than their own opinions of us. Can you imagine that?
