I also used to follow him on social media. While he was never as brown skinned as he is now, his skin tone did darken or lighten from time to time.

Bleachers can go dark to light to dark easily if they get lazy. The intense sun must redarken him too. I guess its possible he doesn't intentionally bleach, he might be getting skincare treatments he doesn't bother or can't maintain.
