Not exactly sure. But I would guess, lower six figures and above 100k. Might have to see the latest stats, at least in Ethiopia where we mainly live. We do also live outside of it, but in smaller numbers.

I'll see if I find it. I saw a document floating around social media not too long ago. But it seemed inaccurate since it included a bigger number of clans, in areas that are no longer part of DDS, as well as half the total population of today etc. (Possibly been made up too). Also, all numbers from Ethiopia in all census. are heavily either inflated or deflated, for whatever purpose it suits whomever is making it.
