Finn Church Aid's Somalia effort to repay €50k after audit

The funds were aimed at Somalia's national reconciliation process and preventing further political violence, according to the Foreign Ministry.

Interesting stuff. Quite an aggressive move from Helsinki to hound the Finn Church NGO for the 50,000 pounds sent to the SFG, it’s a relatively small amount of aid from a country that provides a billion dollars worth of foreign aid every year.

The Finnish government alleges that the money Finn Church NGO provided the SFG were misused by the same SFG.

This will go unnoticed by many but is worth paying attention to.

On one hand, we have countries siphoning billions. And then Somalia on the other hand, with politicians who don't even have any shame and ready to misappropriate a mere 50K.

At this point, we need a godsent savior to prevent this country from ceasing to exist soon

On one hand they beg for foreign aid and then allow foreign fishing vessels to plunder $600m worth of fish for nothing. That $600m can pay for all all the pennies these NGOs give.

What a stupid country and people. Shameful people.
