As to the accusations that he supports the UAE normalising relations with Israel, I think it's just to attack his reputation and not based on actual fact.
He clearly just wants peace between Israel and the Muslim nations, how can he be a supporter of a Zionist agenda?
There's no evidence that his Zaytuna organisation is funded by the UAE and their Israeli connections, it's just speculation and image ruining tactics.
How can you know that? He is a Muslim now, that's what matters. Is it right to be judging a fellow Muslim like this?
Plus, he is a learned scholar who studied with legitimate and credible Islamic teachers.

It is funny how in one post you talk like you're a pious Muslim and in the next you're pro-Zionist.
So me wanting the bloodshed between Israelis and Palestinians makes me pro-Zionist? That is as absurd as saying that because Muslim nations are not aiding Palestinians in their struggle, those nations support Jews.
The reason the Palestinians aren't supported is that there is a bigger geopolitical consideration at play. Anyone who understands how politics works know that sometimes unsavoury compromises have to be reached.
