@SPMLegend my wisdom holds true, anything found in violence(like 91 ethiopia) will fall to violence. Anything found thru peaceful constitutional assembly will only fall to the same process like PL founding. I studied this trend with all violent founded nations, their either fell to violence or if their alive still spread evil and fire worldwide to hold off internal turmoil.

I have not seen someone flipflop like Abiy. From being a loyal Tigray servant under their rule, to siding with Oromos during the protest and taking over the country, to betraying them and siding with Amharas in the war against Tigrayans, to now ditching them and somewhat leaning back to Oromos
Having an Amharified Oromo on top was not a desirable outcome of the civil war

Abiy doesn't care about Ethnicity. He was born in one of the most Ethiopian-ized parts of Oromia to an Orthodox mom and Muslim Dad, and converted to Protestantism. He was one of a small number of Oromos to join the TPLF early on when the majority backed the OLF or Derg.It's in our best interest to have Tigrayans, Amharas, and Oromos fighting each other at all times.

Abiy has killed as many Oromos as the TPLF ever did. He's putting them in positions in power for his benefit, not theirs. When he sides with the Afar over the Somalis, or Sidama over Wolaita, it's a tactical decision, nothing more. He's a post-ethnic Ethiopian in his worldview.
If he wasn't a murtad & was committed to democratizing, I'd support him.
Ethiopia cannot democratize because democratization would lead to balkanization. The only thing keeping Oromo and Somalis in line is the threat of mass murder. Take that away and Ethiopia collapses.
Ethiopia is a prison of nations and its rulers all understand this.
Ethiopia had the chance to be similar to Indonesia from 45-75 and create an actual nation-state, but thankfully they had Mengistu instead of a Suharto/Sukarno and they blew it once they went full communist. State collapse is how this probably how this whole thing ends, hopefully it's less Yugoslavia and more Soviet Union
