Why should Puntland encourage the further breakup of its own state just to prop up ssc khatumo?

Puntland doesn’t have to do anything for ssc Khatumo. It has already freed khatumo from the yoke of Somaliland and has offered to support ssc khatumo as per Puntland’s constitution for 2 years (which is almost coming to an end) and respect its wish to be a separate entity entirely from Puntland.

Beyond this is ssc khatumo’s responsibility. You can’t say you’re going to be a twin brother state to Puntland when you’re comprised of just 4 degmos, Las Anod, Xudun, Talex and Buhodle. No single degmo in Sanaag. And be so broke that Xasan Sh can easily take advantage of you against your own brothers and liberators. This last part is precisely why Puntland is repositioning itself against ssc khatumo, thanks to Firdhiye.

There is no Harti Woqoyi, Warsangeli have a long history of being a sultanate state. They made it very clear they’re either maakhir or Puntland, never ssc khatumo. You have nothing to offer that is more interesting than maakhir state of their own or Puntland without Dhulos.

Better to take the capital imo, it’s never up for re-election like the President so it’s much more stable and you should be the vast majority so you can hold them hostage. In this specific case though it’s clear Warsan was never interested otherwise we would have seen movement long ago. How about instead of mj and dhulo beefing over land that isn't theirs they show respect to their fellow harti and let them decide for themselves who they want to be with treat them like men not a child in a custody battle.

Its a double edged sword. You might end up with migrants if you share the capital but that isn’t really a major problem at such a low-level like inner Harti if Las-Qorey is the capital

You Ogadens are being watched also by Hawiyenimo Nazis, I mean the biggest threat Ogaden been facing since JL is Mogadishu. You can argue Marehan has been an issue also but that's due to Marehan division who is quite similar to what Dhulbahante was like 2007 till 2023. The people you’re throwing your lot in with are still xamarcentric and want to work with
HAG corporation. Time we cut our losses and start preparing for what is to come.

We have internal horgal problem that will prove to be PLs Achilles heel if it carries on to persist in the near future.
