I made a post previously hinting at this possibility and now it seems the FGS has shifted gears looking towards moving away from Madoobe's domain in Kismayo to move the parliament and local to the legal capital of JL Buaale, which is currently held by Al Shabaab.
There has been a massive barrage of airstrikes lately in Jilib and Buaale as of late and now news sites are reporting as many as 300+ Al Shabaab terrorists perished in the latest operation by the US.
The SNA has been last spotted in Baardheere after conducting operations against AS in the outskirts of the town on the road that leads to the capital, if they manage to move past Saakow the resistance gets less complicated. Jilib is located below Buaale and that is the most heavily fortified town by AS, AS has been known to move from town to town fluidly so I'm sure they would be prepared for such an occasion.
This is a lot to do but I believe it can be achieved within Farmaajo's last year before the elections, the process can be sped up with aerial support.
Interesting times ahead...
I'm hearing Farmaajo's parallel administration is readying a plan to conduct joint operations with Ethiopian ENDF to clear Al Shabaab from Baardheere to Buaale; which then they will declare their coalition the rightful administrators of JL from what is legally the official capital of the state.
