This marks the first time in over three decades that the central government has called for direct humanitarian assistance to be provided to the Awdal region, in coordination with the UN, NGOs and relevant agencies.

There’s a section of the rabid secessionists crying over this when Ina Bixi accepted assistance from the FGS after Suuqa Waaheen burned down. Ina Bixi personally thanked former President Farmaajo and PM Rooble, and even invoked Somalinimo on SLNTV. There wasn’t a single outcry.

Wishy washy secessionist nationalism and blatant tribal hypocrisy are not a good combination.

remember when awdal coast was flooded they swallowed the funds from fgs for themselves, north never forgets
