The impact wars and famines have had on us, smh. we've made ourselves laangaab. We currently account for 0.2% of the world's population.

I didn't go back far enough but I bet we have always been in the top 3, yet our numbers currently sit at 15 million in Somalia.

If the civil war didn't happen, we'd easily be 30+ million today.

Im disappointed. I would have thought that our population was more than 40 mill And yet we still stuck at the petty number of 20. If we get a country though our numbers would skyrocket to 100 million in 40 years (like ethiopia)

Is best if our population stay small is easier to teach 6 million vs 60 million less people less dead weight

the overall number would be around 27 to 28 million in my opinion.

I am pretty sure the galbeed and NFD regions sustained higher growth rate than somalia proper(less wars, less famines).

No, not really. Its more like survival of the fittest. The more you have, the more likely your genes will survive. The woman giving birth to 7 kids is ok since sadly most will die and probably 2 or 3 of them will survive with only 2 of them reaching old age. The same goes for birds, fishes, and insects.
