It’s not a sex issue. Most people in leadership positions are narcissists that are only interested in furthering themselves or their in-group. But fortunately for the people, these countries are run by skilled technocrats and the bureaucracy, not politicians, who will guide leaders and will provide the best course of action for them. Africans, especially a few ethnic groups, are narcissists on steroids who have no vision, policies or strategy. African countries also have very weak or nonexistent bureaucracies so it’s no wonder why they are shitholes. People who would make the best leaders wouldn’t have the charisma or interest to be in leadership anyway. If you guys want Somalia to succeed, you should focus on creating and strengthening the Somali bureaucracy with competent and educated professionals who will really control the country. People like HSM and Deni and Bihi and Madoobe or their female replacements will not make their country great nor could they.
