Men are hardly ever referred to as 'male'. It sounds weird.

When was the last time you saw a woman say 'these males'. Even when they are insulting men by saying 'men are trash'. They are still calling them men.

Grammatically, a female can be anything. Why use the word female, when the English language has provided you with a word to describe a female human: woman.

Lets be real, American ghetto culture has popularised using the word female in normal casual conversations. Its always 'these females' 'females are like this or that'.

How about people write and talk properly and use the correct words we have to describe people. I feel the same way about 'male' but the word is hardly used in casual conversations. The same men that use the word 'female' would describe guys as men.
